KIDZ CHURCH HOUR
Sunday Mornings from 10:45 to 12:00
For our KIDZ Church hour each teacher prepares to teach
children on their level as they grow toward adulthood. We encourage the children to personally desire God’s ways for their lives. We strive to train them in the way they should go. We pray the results will be that many children want to obey God with all their heart.
We all start out in the KIDZ Zone where we can minister to children in a room environment that is appealing to them. Each week they will learn something new to apply to their lives.
Pre-schoolers learn and review the same topic presented in Sunday School. The two hours combined enables them to have fun times as well as repeat the topic enough to be learned.
The grade school level of the KIDZ Church Hour has a different set of topics from Sunday School. We provide a snack at 10:50 (between Sunday School and church hour). Then we start out with a “Praise & Worship Time” of music, prayer, specials, and more. At about 11:20 we have a “Life application” puppet presentation or a multimedia drama or a simple skit that introduces the Biblical topic of the hour. Then the 3rd–6th Graders move to another room separate from the K-2nd graders so the teaching can be done on their age level. This school year we are taking an adventure straight through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
